School Mold Verdict
A local high school is appealing a court verdict
WHIO tv.com, Ohio – A jury sided with former West Carrollton High School math teacher, Susan Googash.
The jury says she suffered severe physical side effects from mold in the school while teaching there, including asthma and toxic brain syndrome. The jury believes she should be entitled to participate in the Worker’s Compensation Fund.
The school appealed last week’s ruling. Just this week, the West Carrollton School district was awarded an Excellence Award for cleaning up the indoor air quality of the school.
