Attorney says tests show abnormal results

Rocklin, CA- Tenants have filed a lawsuit against their Rocklin apartment complex owner because their apartments contain toxic mold that is making them sick.
The tenants’ attorneys say tests show that the mold levels inside certain Park Village units are 10 to 100 times the normal.
Tenant Morgan Fedora says that she has gone through physical changes since finding the mold.
“Anxiety, skin rashes, irritation, itching, sever allergy problems,” Fedora said.
Fedora moved, but the move was just a few doors down in the same apartment complex.
Attorney Rick Riley’s firm represents 87 percent of the tenants at the apartment. He says that they are seeking unspecified damages.
“Residents of the affected units are entitles to full reimbursement for all the personal belongings that have to be burned,” Riley said.
KCRA tried to contact the property owner, a limited liability corporation out of Utah called J.J.F., but phone calls were not returned.
Residents say that they are not satisfied by some attempts by management to clean up the mold.
