Mold Helped Force Closing Of Loudon County Hotel
12/20/02
Mold was a factor in the closing of a Loudon County hotel. The two-year-old Holiday Inn Express near Interstate 75 temporarily closed November first. Problems with mold have been reported this year at schools statewide. Mold occurs naturally and can grow almost anywhere that’s warm and damp.
Most common molds generally are -not- hazardous. But some types are blamed for headaches, fatigue and respiratory problems, especially in the young, elderly and those with weak immune systems.
